Imetlaa, the Rifian prominent band currently residing in the Netherlands in cooperation with Nl Mundo, a Spanish flaminco band is going to give a live concert under the theme “Amazigh-Andalus music” in Theater Mohamed V, Rabat on the 26th of October, 2013 at 20:00.
This concert is organized by IRCAM, the Royal institute for for Amazigh culture. During this event, IRCAM will announce the wining Amazigh album for this year. Other artists are also going to participate along with Imetlaa from different regions of Morocco, including Atlas, and Sous regions.
With their project Imetlaa & NL Mundo want to focus aon the Amazigh-Andalus music. Starting point is what they have in common. From there they go back in time to the days of an unprecedented harmonious Andalus, where things could be achieved in a peaceful manner. We now look back with nostalgia to a time when people from various races and religions could work together to create a miraculous civilization.
